Request Data Deletion
You can ask Fyko Menu to delete personal data associated with your use of the platform, subject to identity verification and lawful retention requirements.
Submit your deletion request
Open the Fyko Menu Contact page and send a request with the subject or first line Data Deletion Request. If your request concerns information held primarily by a restaurant or branch, identify that restaurant or branch so the request can be routed correctly.
Information to include
Provide only the details reasonably needed to locate the relevant records:
- your full name
- the phone number or email address used with Fyko Menu
- the relevant restaurant, branch, order reference or account name, if known
- whether the request relates to a website form, restaurant order, account, WhatsApp interaction or Meta-connected feature
Do not include passwords, one-time codes, full payment-card numbers or unrelated sensitive information.
Verification and completion
Fyko Menu may ask for reasonable verification before deleting or anonymising data. This helps prevent unauthorised deletion. Once verified, the request will be assessed and completed within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may be contacted if the request is unclear, concerns restaurant-controlled data or requires additional information.
Where Fyko Menu acts for a restaurant, Fyko Menu may coordinate with or direct the request to that restaurant. Data stored only by a restaurant or by an independent third-party service may need to be deleted by that party.
When some information may be retained
Deletion is subject to lawful exceptions. Limited records may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, contractual or evidentiary obligations. Records that cannot immediately be deleted may be restricted from ordinary use and removed or anonymised when the applicable retention requirement ends.
